Book: Die Rich (Bizz Jockey Carl Pappas Thrillers) by M.H. Vesseurcategories: Book, Fun, Radio, Business, Mystery, Crime Thriller
M.H. Vesseurabout this book: The world's #1 bizz jockey, Carl Pappas, hosts a daily business talk radio show called The Boardroom. This brings him into contact with business top brass from all over the world and it also gets him into trouble on a regular basis. He might as well call himself the "radio detective".
In this second, independent, novel about the bizz jockey, Carl Pappas receives a couple of very, very rich people in his show. He talks to billionairs and their sons about the future of the family business. How will the next generation deal with the riches?
As expected the bizz jockey offends some of his listeners by saying a couple of crude things about the filthy rich — and within days after the broadcast he is in serious trouble. Will his radio team, producer Hitomi Sakamoto and sound engineer Don Wozniak, be able to rescue the bizz jockey from his attackers? And who are these angry rich kids anyway?
"Die Rich" is typical for the bizz jockey Carl Pappas series: it's short, it's funny, it's serious and it's also a bit of a thrill. On top of that it proves that crime fiction doesn't have to be extremely bloody and violent.
