John Robert McCauleyabout this book: The story, set deep in the heart of Costa Rica, opens on a traditional palm oil plantation. Regina was a child of Costa Rica and plantation life, but later learns the ways of the jungles and rain forests, and becomes quite an adventurer herself. Her adventures start out searching for an image of the Resplendent Quetzal where she pits her wits and survival instincts against the forces of nature and wild animals. On this journey, she befriends most of the creatures of the rain forest including some teddy-bear-like-creatures. Spend a few hours with Regina and her new animal friends while viewing panoramic vistas with brilliant visual design and intense action.
After writing the first draft of this story, the Author considered revising the story by inserting a chapter where Regina and her father attended the 1984 Columbia Pictures movie, "Queen of the Jungle," about Sheena, a two-fisted comic heroine clad only in animal skin that fights evil slavers and ravening lions. The Author thought that Regina could fight drug cartels and save magnificent endangered species from Nicaraguan poachers. However, the Author decided that further development of this idea would be in a later story.
This story was typed in Microsoft Word 2013 with subsequent insertion of pictures and direct uploading to Kindle.
Take a peek at all the action on this exciting adventure.
