Ane Mulliganabout this book: Good cooks surround Claire Bennett, and good. You see, her culinary expertise maxes out at Jell-O Jigglers. It's a good thing her hubby, Joel, loves to cook; her kids might have had to subsist on PB&Js. Everyone has their talents, but God didn't give Claire a culinary gene.
A number of Chapel Springs Revival readers asked for recipes, and Mayor Felix Riley liked the idea. So all Claire's friends got together and submitted their favorites. This cookbook includes the best recipes from Chapel Springs—the dishes the residents all bring to town potlucks. Claire has had the good pleasure of tasting all of these at one time or another…well, except for one of Felix's. She wouldn't try it. But maybe you're more adventurous.
Claire, the Mayor of Chapel Springs, and I hope you enjoy this cookbook. And I hope all y'all get the next book in the Chapel Springs series, Chapel Springs Survival. The author exposes Claire's great faux pas in the world of art.
