Paige Singletonabout this book: "Diary of a Dieting Madhouse" is a unique concept that may well be the first of its kind. In what Kirkus calls an "inventive marketing strategy," the plant-based diet book the heroine of the novel uses to lose weight is also available for download by the reader. If there's another book(s) like it, I've never heard of it.
I hope people will love Diary because they love the characters, the plot and the humor. If they take away anything instructional—like a plant-based diet will not only save their lives, but the lives of billions of animals and the planet as well—then what more could one ask for in a book? Oh yeah, it would be nice to make a little money.
