It's a contemporary romantic suspense set in the Dallas, TX, area. Featuring another signature wounded hero, a DEA agent participating in a sting operation gone awry, Jackson Taylor must do all he can to protect Kendi Morgan from the wrath of the drug cartel he infiltrated. When he's left for dead on Kendi's property, she has no choice but to bring him inside and try to save him from the elements and his wounds. But one vengeful drug lord is out to make sure that Jackson and any other witnesses will never testify in a court of law against him.

I didn't choose this cover--my publisher did--but I think it's one of my all-time favorite covers I've ever had on any of my books.
