Mary Tate Engelsabout this book: They had a delightful little affaire in Alexandria. Loren loved all the interesting sections of her home, Washington, DC. Georgetown . . . The Mall . . . The Hill ... the Potomac ... but Alexandria was her favorite. Old, quaint, traditional ... a slower pace. She belonged here. And so did he, she thought. But it was over, abruptly, and he went back home – out West. Loren survived the heartbreak and moved on to create her own independence. What would happen when he stepped back into her life? She stilled loved him but…
Reid was Western through and through, from his cowboy boots to his rodeo belt buckle to his tan Stetson. The West was his home, his idea of the perfect place. And not a day passed that he didn't regret leaving Loren. Would she open her heart and arms to him a second time? He still loved her but…
Can the Eastern sophisticated Loren keep her dedication and independence in Reid's rugged wild-west country?
Author's Comment- In another story in my Under the Desert Sky series, we see the contrasts between the East and West in the US. Both areas are wonderful and beautiful, but very different. I love seeing how my heroes and heroines work out their differences in chasing dreams and finding love.
