about this book: This book is about learning to put the past behind you before you can look toward the future. It was originally published in print, but revising it enabled me to add scenes not present in the print edition. It should appeal to readers of contemporary romance who love stories about hard-working cowboys, rodeo action, mustangs, wild stallions and, of course, falling in love. The cover showing two lovers, a mustang roundup and a wild horse perfectly depicts the story which involved a good deal of research into the Wyoming location and the rodeo circuit.
The story revolves around Hank Reardon, a rodeo champion turned rancher who lives with the guilt of his wife's violent death while he was competing on the rodeo circuit. With the help of photojournalist Kit Sloan, who has come west to photograph the annual mustang roundup, Hank returns to the competition and finds the love he thought he'd never have again. Romantic Times' 4-star rating described this as "the perfect book for those in search of extra-rich characterizations and excellent plot development". I hope readers will agree.
