Book Reviews: Pass the Hot Stuff by Dana Pagecategories: Book, Fiction, Funny Romance, Southern, Chick Lit, New Orleans, Memphis, Mardi Gras, Bourbon Street, TCM, Peabody Hotel, French Quarter, Contemporary Romance
Dana Pageabout this book: Pass the Hot Stuff is a funny, contemporary romance that is a lot like the cities where the story is set: Romantic, Sexy, Southern, Vibrant and Quirky. The story drifts along the Mississippi River from Memphis to New Orleans following Blythe Townsend as she settles into being with her safe but dullard boyfriend. When she's tempted by a hot but cocky New Orleans guy, she starts to struggle with who she is and what she wants out of life. Deceit, insane foot chases through the French Quarter and inexcusable dancing in blues bars light up the night for these sassy belles and sexy men.
This is a story about love, both the romantic kind and loving yourself enough not to settle for less. I wrote it at a time when I needed to feel hope and optimism. That's what I want the reader to feel when she or he reads it: Like falling in love, dancing down Bourbon St. and laughing all night long.
• Jersey Girl Book Reviews says: "...a quirky cast of characters who will keep you in stitches with their crazy antics; hilarious dialogues and interactions; a richly detailed description of New Orleans; and a storyline that features a love triangle and spicy romance..."
• "Pass the Hot Stuff is so much more than a romance story. It is a feel good story..."

Fabulous CharactersI loved this book! I didn't want it to end. I really felt like I was a part of it. Maybe because I would really like to be friends with these characters. They are so funny, real and sometimes over the top. I had a blast reading this book and will actually read it again in a couple of months. [by Stephanie]
Very funnyThis is a great read. Fabulous diaglogue! Fun characters. Some twists and turns. I was really pulling for the main character in this as she struggled with men and her insecurities. [by Ashley]
What could be better ... laughter & loveThis is a story filled with full-blown characters, hilarious dialogue & the lure of New Orleans. Loved Mr. Tall, Dark & Eye Candy but most of all the bond between all the multi-generational women that were at the center of it all. You will have fun reading this book. [by Elizabeth]
Pass the Hot Stuff by Dana PageThis is a great book for those who love a great romance from the south. Everyone can relate to all the locations and southern atmosphere. All the caricatures are so true to life and fun loving. What a great read!
