Leigh Morganabout this book: FIGHTING FATE is Book 2 of my series The Dojo/Warrior Chronicles. This story takes place seventeen years after SPARRING PARTNERS and revolves around Jesse Mohr-Bennett, Reed and Jordon's adopted son, and Taryn Campbell, the daughter Reed gave up for adoption when Reed was a teenager. Jesse tracks down Taryn, and after moments of explosive adventure, introduces her to her birth mother. From that moment on, Taryn's life and concept of family will never be the same. She is guided on her path by clues left to her by her now deceased step-father. In addition to steamy scenes and martial arts training, FIGHTING FATE weaves in spiritual and mystical elements.
I completed and published FIGHTING FATE in July 2012. This story takes us to the mystical lands of southwestern Scotland and southwestern England; two places I love to explore and study. With Jesse's help, Taryn learns of her true background and must either accept it or fight her fate.
