Nonna Gerikh

Author Nonna Gerikhabout this book: Based on a true story with an extra magical fiction bonus, an engaging and inspirational romance that restores faith and energizes the soul in the challenges and mysteries of everyday life.

A Trilogy of Vignettes that deliver an Old Fashioned Love Story; innocent, beautifully classic and riveting.

Magic in Mauve merges romance with magical realism as Monique and her magical creation follow separate, yet entwined destinies. Every day is imbued with magic and possibility as we enjoyed seeing how Monique's creation so carefully designed, seems to have a life of its own, a life that ties women from across the globe together.

Twelve-year-old Zorina's story is especially moving as her chances for happiness seem inevitably doomed to play second fiddle to the demands of state and her conservative Shah uncle. Characters are lively and richly detailed, and the plot is a delight. This book is suitable for young and new adults as well as the target audience since it's a squeaky clean romance.

Interesting facts of color Mauve.

A pale purple color mauve is the English translation of the mallow flower. Originates from France. The first use of the word mauve as a color was in 1796–98 according to the Oxford English Dictionary, but its use seems to have been rare before 1859. Mauve became very popular in the 1890s.

Chemist William Henry Perkins while searching for the cure from malaria, discovered what turned out to be an aniline dye, that allowed the widespread use of that color in fashion. This decade was sometimes referred to as the Mauve Decade.

Significance of color Mauve.

It improves intuition and spirituality and promotes femininity.

The artwork of the book cover is the allegory—two women and a princess blossoming, as their life transformed.

As writers, we share parts of our soul with our characters. It took me about four years to complete and publish this novel. The result is a truly therapeutic experience that brings closure and healing. I hope you enjoy Magic in Mauve as you find parts of your soul and fall in love with its characters.
