Author Chadi Nassarabout this book: The book is about a man named David and the part of his life that deals with relationships, namely 2 relationships. The readers will enjoy is since it comes from a place that is raw, natural and dark at times, yet not too heavy. I was inspired to write the book when I myself was heart-broken and needed to turn all that negative energy and dark emotions into a creative project. Readers that enjoy first person stories, a couple of cliff-hangers that eventually get resolved and drama would love this book. In total, on and off, the book took around 10 years to complete. I would write it and leave it, then come back to it, etc. While writing, the title came organically since while reading the book, the reader is really "Sculpting" David and the image of him that is portrayed by all 3 voices in the book. In all fairness, being able to write in 3 different voices was not easy. David's voice is the one closest to who I am and my own inner darkness, so to write in other voices I literally had to invoke new voices in my head and listen to them talk to me. I was writing in the first person FOR the characters themselves. It was quite the interesting exercise. I learned that sometimes if not always, we can turn a negative in our life into a positive. I turned heart-ache and very negative feelings into a book and letting go of the past. In fact, the book is dedicated to the girl that broke my heart and so started this journey of the book being written and I can honestly say that I only wish her all the best in her life :)

In conclusion, I would love it if this book spoke to you in some way. From what I've been told, a lot of readers seem to believe David himself and his inner thoughts are very close to their own regardless of sex and sexuality. I am proud of that aspect and I hope you would love all 3 characters as I do.
