Book: Three Days by Felicia Case & Michael Wojciechowskicategories: Book, Romance, General, Modern, Chicago, Contemporary Fiction
Michael Wojciechowskiabout this book: Three days in Chicago is all it takes for renowned author, Kurt McCarthy, to fall in love. Unfortunately, he falls for Kadie, the one person who thinks he's lost his edge. They meet on a plane bound for Chicago. Kurt is scheduled to perform a reading from his latest book later that night. Kadie, after having just finished McCarthy's novel on the plane, offers a scathing critique of the book. The irony surrounding all of this is: Kadie has no idea she's actually talking with Kurt McCarthy. She thinks she's talking to Paul Stevens. She is. Kurt McCarthy is Paul Stevens's pen name--a secret he keeps from her.
Three Days was written by Felicia Case and Michael Wojciechowski. Felicia wrote the odd numbered chapters from Kadie's perspective, while Michael wrote the even-numbered chapters from Kurt's. This book explores what it means to feel, even if those feelings can make you question everything you thought you knew about love.
It took Felicia and me three years to write the book. It was the highlight of my personal and professional life. Felicia never imagined she would be a published author. She never thought her writing was good enough. I spent a lot of time trying to convince her otherwise. She wasn't often wrong, but it brings me great joy to say to her now, "Felicia, you were wrong."
