London St. Charlesabout this book: The Husband We Share, drew its first breath via keystroke after I finished reading, Cheaters, by Eric Jerome Dickey. A set of characters swirled in my head with every page I turned that had nothing to do with the story. The more enthralled I became in Cheaters, the louder my set of characters chatted.
I completed that book, then morphed to my desktop and wrote for thirteen hours straight, only taking bathroom breaks lol. I've always had a passion for writing, but I've never had that kind of gravitational pull to do so.
The Husband We Share is about Xavier, a Chicago detective who's married to two beautiful women who have no idea that they share a husband and that's how he intends to keep it, even though the stress of juggling two households and a demanding career has become more challenging than usual.
After making a careless mistake, Xavier's life starts to unravel. The downward spiral effects both homes as well as his job, and he pays the ultimate price for his deceitfulness.
Will Xavier live to see another day?
If he does, what's the state of his marriages?
What happens to his career?
You'll have to read The Husband We Share to find out.
