Book Review: Colorado Springs history A to Z by Patricia Farris Skoloutcategories: Book, Sights, Tourists, Vintage Photographs, Places to Visit, Colorado Springs
Author: Patricia Farris Skolout
Publisher: P.F. Skolout
Terrific Book for Tourists and Those Enjoying Colorado Springs History!Lots of information and great vintage photographs and graphics. It's arranged alphabetically (A is for Antlers Hotel, B is for Broadmoor, etc.) so you can pick it up and read all about it. Has a great list of places to visit in the back. This book is great for adults and I picked up Skolout's companion book for kids: "Colorado Springs History A to Z: For Children", a fabulous activity and coloring book that follows the same A to Z line. Kept my kids busy throughout our trip. We got ours at the Pioneers Museum and they said the author lives in town and is happy to mail them to people out of state planning a visit.
