about this book: I am a Christmas fanatic. By that I mean that I love everything about the season and I love writing about it. "Simply Christmas: Memories, Traditions, & Stories of the Season was written with my friend, Jo Huddleston.
Jo and I wanted to share our personal stories and traditions with our friends, family, and readers so we begin writing short stories, poems, and recipes to include in the book. As we progressed through the writing, we added a daily devotion for each day of December in an effort to encourage people to think about the spiritual connection to the holiday and not just the commercialized chaos we see all around us every year.
"Simply Christmas" will not only give you a daily inspirational boost, but you'll find tips on decorating your house for the season, baking tips, and recipes for parties. These are suggestions for keeping your Christmas simple and enjoyable without feeling too stressed about the season.
This is our invitation for you to take a fresh look at the Christmas season.
