Kimberly Rose Johnsonabout this book: My favorite books to write and to read are Christmas books, so it made sense to include a Christmas story in my Wildflower Island B&B Romance Series.
It took me a few months to write. The first half was written over the course of a couple months and I wrote the last half in two weeks due to a change in due date to my freelance editor.
This was probably the easiest title I have ever had to come up with. Each of the books in the series begins with the word Island, so this one had to be called Island Christmas. :)
I think the hardest part about writing this book was the change in deadline. I've never written that many words in two weeks time and it was very stressful. That being said, I'm pleased with the outcome and the story has been well received by advance readers.
In Island Christmas Rachel from book one returns to the island with her three-year-old son. She plans to stay at the B&B until she can find a home for them. While there she meets, Chris, another guest who also plans to move to the island and they develop a friendship.

A cozy Christmas storyThis series just keeps getting better and better. I loved the first two books; and Island Christmas adds to the story. Kimberly Johnson does a perfect job of developing her characters. The reader comes to love and know the characters on a more personal level. Her description of living on an island is spot on. With such little area to cover, gossip and everyone knowing everyone else is inevitable. Of course, the story being set at Christmas put it at one of my favorite times of the year.
Rachel Narrelli returns with her son, Jason, to Wildflower Island after three years. She needs a fresh start after finally getting her life on track. However, island life may come with a few bumps in the road. Will Rachel be able to work out everything as a single Mom? Will she risk her heart once again on a love that may not be able to last? And why is she drawn to learn about God when all her life she scorned Him?
Chris Campbell has bee told to slow down his life. For a self proclaimed workaholic that could pose a problem. With his future uncertain, how does a cute single mom fit into his life? Will he be able to trust and put his faith in God to find God's outcome?
Catching up with old friends from the first two books, Chase and Piper Grayson and Nick and Zoe Jackson, was just an added perk to the book. We are also introduced to newcomers, Jill, Derrick and his daughter, Alyssa. So come take a vacation to Wildflower Island. Stay at the Wildflower B&B or be pampered at the Wildflower Resort. Put up your feet and let your mind wonder. [by Calliegh]
