Very Thought ProvokingThis book gave me a lot to think about. It offers a fresh approach to faith, politics, and religion. I especially liked the challenge to candidates for public office. The author basically says, if you're going to talk about faith then how does your faith united, not divide the country. That's a very unique approach to the issue of faith in the public square.
The book has an enormous documentation to prove several, highly controversial theories about whether faith is under attack in America, whether liberals are to blame for the country's secularization, and more. Actually, if I have one criticism of the book, it's that it is several books. There is a huge amount to digest and reflect on. I'm planning to re-read it at some point before the presidential election.
