about this book: This is my first novel and it came to me in spurts. I always wanted to write, but I don't think I knew I could write a novel. I wrote Bible Studies, and inspirational pieces, and a few short stories, but this was different. It came from my deep desire to see Christians strong in the Lord as well as insights the Lord was giving me about shouting His Word and being strong within. The story unfolded, sometimes while sitting in church, sometimes while driving, often sitting on my patio. I thought it was complete when it was 29,000 words, but soon learned from writing conferences and reviews that I needed much more development. Upon completion it was 62,000 words. I gave it a futuristic sense, one that seems more and more present day as time goes by. I made it somewhat allegorical with Jesus being called King Glory, his Creator Father called Jajireh, and angels having interesting conversations in heaven and intervening in the earthly situations. It deals with persecution and how to stand strong. It has a special needs young man who has great insight into the ways of King Glory and Jajireh. It has my heart, and I hope it will touch the hearts of those who read it. My young college friend read it and found herself praying to God calling Him Jajireh. The book is set in the woods of Door County where I live.
