Ruth Kyserabout this book: Chris O'Reilly was just sitting in a restaurant, eating his breakfast, when he heard a song from his past. That began a journey he never expected to make--back to his hometown of Davis, California to seek help from his dad in his quest for an old girlfriend.
He heads to Minnesota, planning to stop over in the hometown of his old Army buddy -- a town named Christmas -- before he heads on in his search for the past love of his life. Never in his wildest dreams would he have thought he'd find everything he ever wanted, right there in Christmas.
This is a story of faith, family, and all the wonderful things about Christmas that stick in our memories.
By the way, Christmas, Minnesota doesn't exist -- except in my mind!
I was led to write this book when I heard an old song from my past. It was a Moody Blues song entitled, "I Know You're Out There Somewhere." As soon as I heard the song, I was taken back to my first boyfriend, and the story kind of took over from there.
I hope everyone will enjoy this heart-warming story. And yes, it has a happy ending. I don't write stories unless they have a happy ending.
