Book: Mother, Me and Mantel by Y I Leecategories: Book, Emotional Abuse, Overcoming, Family, Trauma, Survival, Christian Autobiography
Y I Leeabout this book: I am a Christian author, and have written eight books. This book is my autobiography. My aim in writing it, is to share how awesomely wonderful God has been in my life.
This is a book I have felt urged to write for a long time. It's not been easy. Remembering the painful times as a child, stirred long buried emotions. Nevertheless, it was certainly a cathartic experience.
There are many types of abuse. The abuse I suffered was not physical, but emotional. I carried the scars into adulthood, suffering with low self esteem and an inferiority complex a mile wide.
Through the pages of this book I have sought to share my troubled childhood. The traumas I experienced in later life, and a spiritual encounter that changed my life for ever.
I hope 'Mother, Me and Mantel' will bless and encourage those who read it. Maybe even inspire someone to put pen to paper and write their own story.
