Book: The Wizard Lizard by Gerard Labrecquecategories: Book, Folktale, Fairytale, Adventure, Desert, Cunning, Children's Book
Gerard Labrecqueabout this book: Lawrence the lizard is really no wizard. He becomes an accidental so away on a camels foot. He uses his cunning to find his way home. In reality his magic is just getting people to communicate what they already feel, without hurting anyones feelings. This is a good moral of the story book. It is not a picture book. Good to read to children 6 and up, or a good family fairy tale. If the Child is to read it I'm thinking 5th grade or better.
I always loved to make up stories for my 4 children. My Grandfather told me many a tall tale when I was a child. Silly me, I believed them all till I grew up. Lawrence was my supposed to be my mother,s
Birth name. As they were expecting a boy. My Children helped me a lot with their encouragement to finally write one of my tall tales. Family is such an important aspect of my life. I am a very blessed man.
