about this book: Charlie is now an orphan. He is a nosey, spunky little black squirrel who grew up in the country. When his parents died, he moved to a big city to live with and his Aunt Leticia, Uncle Harold, and his Cousin, Pete Berryhill. They live in a beautiful little park in the centre of the city. It has a fountain with water splashing and running down and a bubbling, gurgling splendiferous waterfall. It has crab apple trees, and park benches, too. The park is near a busy street with lots of traffic, and there is a courthouse next door. The Berryhills love Charlie, and Pete loves to have someone to play with. But Charlie urgently wants to know everything about the people and weird objects in the city. Aunt Leticia warns him to be careful. "Stick with Pete at all times," she tells him. Charlie tries to obey, but many times curiosity runs away with him, and he goes wherever he likes.
