Penny Coutleeabout this book: The Adventures of Jumberhoo is about a bumblewasp who is taken from the big city and is brought to a country farm. There he meets lots of critters and his adventures begin. My father inspired me to write these books. One of his childhood memories was a tale that was told by his great aunt of "Jumberhoo". That is where I got the main character for my book. The primary readers are children ages 2 and up. The books took about 6 months to write and I also do my own graphics for each book. The title was from the main character. There was no hard part in writing the books, it just came naturally being raised from the south and living in the country. I did not do any research for my book. I would like to tell my readers that I enjoy writing each book and that every child's imagination will run when reading these books. They will want to read the next volume to see where and who Jumberhoo meets.
