Reece Pocockabout this book: I wrote this for all who love ice cream - that includes me. But Sarah goes too far and only wants to eat ice cream.
For any parent who had problems getting their children to eat proper foods this is the story for you. When Sarah eats her food, she wishes it was ice cream. Her mother tells her to eat her sausages, mashed potatoes, and peas but she refuses and says she wants ice cream. If she eats her food she can have what she wants but that is not enough for Sarah.
All Sarah wanted to eat was ice cream. The cold creamy taste lingered on her tongue. She liked strawberry, vanilla, chocolate, caramel, macadamia nut, mango and mint chocolate chip. She told her older brother Rhys. 'I love ice cream. I don't want anything else.'
'You're crazy,' said Rhys.
Sarah's special treat was when her family went to town. They would call into an ice cream shop. She always had blueberries and cream ice cream. Other flavours were laid out in front of her. She wanted to try them all. Sarah wished her family would leave her alone in the shop with lots of money so she could try all the flavours. That would be heaven.
