Book: Jay's Coach Learns a Lesson - What can a boy do to stop corruption? (Jay's World Book 3) by Kamon Therriencategories: Book, Corruption, Corrution and Children, Book for Boys, Chapter Book, Funny Story, Children's Book
Kamon Therrienabout this book: Children have to face situations where there is corruption. It is not an easy subject to talk about with kids, but it is not to be put in the drawer too. Jay's story happens at the swimming pool, and involves his best friend Broody.
I made it funny in Jay's third adventure, but I made it straight to the point, we do not turn a blind eye on corruption at any level. I gave good clues to kids as what they should do in such situations and that they should talk to their parents about it.
Jay is late for his swimming practice, which does not help to put his mother in a good mood.
Arriving in the locker room at the pool, Jay overhears his coach and a friend plotting to cheat and take some of the athletes' sponsorship money.
Book available in paperback and as ebook, like all my books, Jay's story is written in English and French. Have a nice read!
