Lynn Hardy Wallace about this book: This book uses techniques which appeal to children to teach them about God's design of several animals. It employs rhyming words, alliteration, a little humor, and other things to appeal to children. The beginning pokes a little fun by mentioning matters that do not occur in the animal world. She tells the life stories of kangaroos, Platypuses, eels and other animals. Lynn wrote it out of a concern for the science theory public schools teach as fact. The fact is God created all animals and fitted them for the place where their live. Because of this she feels it fills a needed spot. The author wrote it for ages 5-7. This book uses realistic illustrations by the same author and artist. From the research she learned about how God made several animals for their particular environment. Writing the book took about a year, and painting the pictures in acyclics required more than twelve more months. God had a specific plan for each animal and for you.
