David J Cooperabout this book: This is a picture book for young children and is about two squirrels who have to fight a bad witch to stop her from dumping trash in their forest. It is very easy for young children to read as they can refer tot he illustrations while reading the text. I was inspired to write this book mainly to let children know how the environment is being contaminated with litter. I spent about six months writing it. The hardest part of writing this book was looking for suitable illustrations that fit in as the story goes along. The thing I learned most from writing this book was, that for me it was more difficult to write a children's story than to write a story for adults. Strange, eh?
I would like to ask my readers to enjoy this book and also tell any of the adults who are reading it to their children to enjoy it too. Maybe when families go out into the forest for a day or two, or to have a picnic, they may be able to relate this story to the surrounding they are visiting.
