Frank Kusyabout this book: 'Buddha Cat' is the sequel to the award-winning 'Ginger the Gangster Cat'. In this book, the surly feline fatling is given a task by his girlfriend, the foxy Madame Frou-Frou, to bring home the 'top sausage in the whole wide world...without eating it.' Once again, he enlists the help of his sweet little sidekick, Sparky, to achieve his task, and sets forth to the home of the Bavarian sausage, Munich. Along the way, he has a series of dreams, in which he is thrown back to Ancient India and revisits his first lifetime as the 'Chosen One' of the Buddha, a greedy little god cat who must do his 'pussy revolution' in order to bring all cats to Heaven. It doesn't seem likely...
I was inspired to write this book by having an accident in which I broke my leg in 3 places and piled on 20 kilos overnight. I figured that, as a Buddhist, I could break my addiction to food (just as I have Ginger do in 'Buddha Cat') and achieve en 'lighten' ment!
