Book Review: I Have Lived - life from a cancer survivor's perspective by Keith E. Gerbercategories: Book, Inspiriational, Motivational, Life, Love, Happiness, Patriot, Christian, Cancer Survivor
Keith E. Gerberabout this book: This book is about a change of perspective, learning to be optimistic about life and daily events. I learned to see that everything does have a bright side and love is meant to be shared with everyone, not just a select few. I found that people expected or wanted me to be angry or sad because I had a terminal diagnosis. But, the happier I was, the more I wanted to live. The more I wanted to live, the more I wanted to tell people that every day is a gift and it should be enjoyed to the best of one's ability. I learned a lot about myself and life from writing this book. I decided to share my insights and little secrets that helped me be happy when life was seemingly coming to an end. I love every day now. Some days are painful, some days have sadness in them, but I thank God for every one. I learned that life is like a roller-coaster and I expect it to have ups and downs, after all you cannot have one without the other can you?

Uplifting, every page is upliftingI cannot believe how every page has a message. The message seems to apply specifically to me. The author has written emotions, not words. I am impressed with his ability to demonstrate that emotions are universal.
