Adam Moonabout this book: Switcheroo was tough to write. At the end of the day I think I captured the essence of what I was trying to say in the book.
It's about a man who wakes up one morning and has lost almost all of his memories. Most of the rest of the book deals with what caused this memory loss. In time he finds out he's been possessed by God and all the rest of humanity were forewarned of his coming. Writing about God was tough because I don't believe in a creator, per se.
I think I took the book in some interesting directions, like what if God, in human form, has a drinking problem?
What would happen if the United States government created a quarantine zone around his neighborhood to keep him safe? Could they keep him safe?
And what types of people will look at God coming to earth as a burden, or as a bad sign?
There is a big fat twist at the end and I really hope it doesn't come too far out of left field.
