Glenn A Edwardsabout this book: This is my first attempt at writing a book in 25 years. I've always loved making up stories and telling them to my friends and now I tell them to my grandchildren. The ability to create a person or a creature and give it a life and a personality unique to what one believes and then put it on paper to share, This is what being a Author is to me.
So one day my wife dragged out a old suitcase from 25 five years ago and said, "Now get to work", so being one who obeys the boss, (We do things together, I just call her the Boss), I went through what I had written and sat down one day and started writing, "BALANCE".
I've always been interested in Nature and the mysteries that the world has to offer. One of these great unknowns was BIGFOOT, so why not do one on the subject with a little twist to the plot. In the course of a month I had my book done and my wife said, "Publish it" well being like I am I told her, "I need to review it and do some tweaking" well to make a long story short 3 months later I was done.
Since I am a researcher for the Kentucky Bigfoot Research Organization I have gathered what knowledge there was known on the subject of BIGFOOT and incorporated it into the book.
BALANCE is written with younger people in mind, there's no foul language or detailed adult content that would offend anyone, but there are a few gruesome death scenes. The Three main characters are Mary Hatchfield who is a game warden in Kentucky, her friend of the forest Jumping-Buck who she travels with and their evil rival who is also a Bigfoot by the name of Fang-Tooth. Mary has a latent psychic ability that enables her to speak to Jumping-Buck, and together they work to save mankind from extinct. While at the same time Fang-Tooth does his best to bring about our extinction.

Really good book , very interesting an easy readLoved this book! Didn't want to put Balance down! It has funny parts and parts that had me in suspense wondering what was going to happen. Love the main characters Mary and Jumping - Buck they go great together. Can't wait for the next in the series "The Rising". I'm dying to know what Fang - Tooth is going to do and who is the woman bigfoot that is going to be with him?
Wow a good read, gives a twist on the whole BIGFOOT ideaThis is a perty good read for a beginning author. I enjoyed the charactors and the detail on locations portrayed. Looking forward to the next one called THE RISING"
