Deborah H. Batemanabout this book: In the book of Ruth, Ruth was from a pagan land, but after her husband dies, she and her mother-in-law go back to the Promised land to start a new life. The two widows start over, but God teaches them to rely on Him, to lead, guide and direct in their life. He provides their needs. Ruth finds a field of hope when she happens to glean in Boaz's field. God blesses Ruth, and she becomes a part of Jesus' genealogy.
The Book of Ruth: A Story of Love and Redemption was my first book to write and publish. I learned many lessons while working on the book, from the lessons learned from the Bible study to everything it takes to write and publish a book. It was an exhilarating experience for me. I never dreamed I would become an author, but God works in mysterious ways.
I hope you will learn how God leads, guides, and directs in your life and how He can redeem a life that seems to be lost forever without no hope. I hope you enjoy the book.
