about this book: Would you like to study the women of the Bible? Would you like your women's Bible study group to study the women of the Bible? My Bible study series, Daughters of the King, came out in the 1990's and after the twelve books in the series went out of print, I longed to have it available again but also enlarge and enhance it with additional commentary. Elk Lake Publishing has given me that opportunity. "Choices of the Heart" is now available and there will be additional books in the series in the future. This book is a ten lesson study with questions about Scripture verses, commentary giving background information on the women of the Bible, and a "Letter from God" that speaks to the heart of the reader. I've heard from so many women who tell me that when they read the "Letter from God," it brings tears to their eyes because it feels like God is speaking to them. I'm privileged that God uses those "letters." But more importantly, the Bible is God's "love letter" to each of us and my desire is to have a woman who uses my study know more about the women of the Bible, but more importantly, know how much God loves and values her.
I'm very excited that "Choices of the Heart" offers a study that contrasts two different women of the Bible with the emphasis on the good and unwise choices they make. I trust that when you study about those women, you'll feel more hope that God has a plan for you and more trust in a God who only wants what's best for you.
