Lloyd Fosterabout this book: You hardly ever think of the Bible in terms of serious mathematics. The stories are usually so compelling, that they get all your focus.
Biblical Math takes you on a journey through the first 7 books of the Bible, with emphasis on the numbers mentioned there. You will quickly come to realize that there is a recurring mathematical pattern throughout.
This is not a religious book by any definition of the term. The author's approach is that of a case being presented in court. You, the reader, are the judge and jury. It is up to you to decide whether the author's case (that the pattern of numbers is not coincidental but part of a deliberate mathematical code)is solidly made.
This is an idea with which I have been fascinated for the past 10 years, but never got the courage to write it down. It is the product of intense biblical research spanning more than 2 decades. The most important lesson I have learned from this research is to respect the intelligence of the persons who authored the first 7 books of the Bible.
Regardless of your opinions about the stories in the Bible, once you delve into the mathematics, I am convinced that you will similarly come to respect the mathematical genius of the Biblical creators.
