Susie Fulbright about this book: Barbershop Jaron is a journey from fifty plus years of running a barbershop. My husband is the co-owner and has worked in the barbershop since 1968. This book offers history, fun barbershop stories and topics, written in two years time. The title is based on the funny stories of which are true. I chose the cover as it is the front of the barbershop. The hardest part of writing this piece was compiling all the stories and photos from different family members. I learned that the barbershop business is filled with social interaction and hard, hard work. "Come on in you'll be next" is their standard protocol. This booklet is filled with information about this South Carolina Upstate barbershop. The authenticity since the barbershop was built in 1939, and none of the inside décor has ever been changed except for a new glass, or paint. As you walk into the barbershop, it is as though you are walking in a past warp with the tall ceiling, ceiling fan, wooden chairs lined on one side and work stations on the other, and four barber chairs. Husband and his brother own and work there.
