about this book: I had been urged to write a book by many friends and family members due to my sense of humour and varied business background. I have never had a job but always worked as a contractor or with my own business. I have also traveled extensively. My only previous writing experience had been sports articles for newspapers. In the past when it was suggested that I write a book, I resisted because I didn't think I would have the patience for it. I did know that a writer should write about what they know. Since I am an expert on me, I started with an autobiography. The feedback from my readers is the book is highly entertaining and very funny. I also found that I did have the patience and have begun work on my second book, a novel. It is a romance between a white man and a black woman with the backdrop of field trials, birddogs and Tennessee Walking horses.
