Mariam Cheshireabout this book: This is my autobiography. These stories are what happened to me in my 92 years.
It took many rejection slips before I finally received a $25 check. My published stories came about because of a chance remark or an incident that happened unexpectedly.
The first years were small magazines for family, youth and children. I received only one fan letter. The lady told me I had given her "hope" when she had lost it. Her letter kept me on the typewriter despite rejections. She gave me hope that I could help someone, someplace, at sometime.
Family is included in this book. My mother's letter "How I Met Mr. Right" and my father's studies of his Religious Percepts.
Family history comes about with a Time Travel trip back to the 14th century to a German family who were our ancestors. In another chapter, sister Nancy is caught in a Revolutionary War battle on Looukout Mountain in South Carolina. Is is 2014 or 1780?
Each section gives a bit of my story to tell what happened. There are Blogs, NextDoor, and "The Worst Sin."
A huge variety with Something for Everyone.
