Nathan Rhodesabout this book: Murder Seen through The Eyes of a child is a short read about a traumatic event that happens to a mountain family. The young boys in the story observe these things happening all around them as they get into one type of mischief after another. These boys will keep you laughing as you yourself witness a tragedy unfold as you turn from page to page.
For myself, while living and working in the mountains and I witnessed the struggles of families to hold onto their land. This fact inspired me too put this story to paper. The title was easy for me, I was one of the young boys in the story. We actually did all the silly pranks that you will read and laugh about.
I wanted to write this story for many years after observing the destruction of a family and their property as a young boy. Finally as an Adult and as a coal miner I witnessed first hand the extent companies would go to chase down and hold onto the dollar. I knew then that I would put this story down on paper.
I hope you enjoy the book and as you turn the pages I feel confident you will enjoy a glimpse into the past and you will form an appreciation for a way of life that is long gone.
