I wrote this book because I was riddled with fears, worry and could barely get through a day without dreading it. Panic attacks are very debilitating, exhausting and many times there is no support from family and friends as they don't understand what is happening and they feel just as helpless as the victim going through it. I watched my mother suffer with agoraphobia and I was determined to overcome this hellish existence. I have a deep desire to help everyone suffering with generalized anxiety, panic attacks and stressful living. What we overcome, we must teach and help others to make it through the tunnel and into the light.

I went to every type of Doctor, healers and nothing helped more than a few days. I was in a prison in my own body and home. After seeking much self-help and reading dozens of books written by well-intentioned people who had never experienced chronic anxiety and panic attacks. I surrendered! Gave up! And, in that moment I found the golden door to freedom. I, we, truly have the power within our minds to override the fear cycle by starving it to death! The brain cannot maintain two passionate emotions; when we flip the switch and change our thoughts every single thing changes.

I take the reader on a bit of my journey and give examples of real cases of people I've worked with teaching them self-hypnosis so that they'll always have that "tool" to use no matter what happens in their lives.

I love reading my book, as it's written in a style that inspires and will ring true on any page you flip to. There are times I can't believe that I wrote it and feel as if someone else is speaking to me...and I love when that happens because I know it will change lives!

It took me a few years to write it because I kept changing it. Some would say that I needed more medical jargon, and to make it longer, explaining the intricacies of the brain., however, I decided to write it in the style that I would've loved when going through it all. It's an easy no-nonsense read.

I had so many mock covers and then I found the butterflies …and that was it! The proverbial story of the caterpillar morphing inside the cocoon and emerging with colorful wings. That's what my book is all about! I want everyone to read it and come out of the darkness and fly away and enjoy this unpredictable life!
