Christine Salterabout this book: since moving to italy 20 years ago i have dedicated thm to animal rescue. I hope it will make you smile perhaps shed a tear and think about all the lost mistreated and abandoned animals. most people with pets love and cherish them but unless they sit and think about it they cant realize just how many suffer in the hands of men.. many people after loosing a beloved pet say never again but they must realize that they are not forever. but next time just vist a kennels and take home a dog that looks out from his cage just asking to love you with nothing but love in return. you can be rich or poor to a dog or cat it makes no difference you can live in a mansion or in a wooden hut they wont care..i was pushed to tell a few of my expoits by Marino a dog i would not give up on.
