about this book: Grace has a birthmark on her cheek, and Amish men choose the prettier girls. She's happy working in the quilt shop, enjoying her friends and family, and helping others in the community, but she'd love to meet someone special. She resigns herself to being a spinster the rest of her life, when Mark walks into her life and pursues her. She's thrilled until she and her father find out Mark's secret. Her life is torn apart, and she prays for a miracle.
Grace's Forgiveness is Book 2 in the Keepsake Pocket Quilt series. She's a midwife, and she and Becca (from Book 1) are close. They also face some challenges and joys. The characters will keep you guessing, and the story will take you away to Berlin, Ohio, where a lot of trouble and fun happen.
I had a procedure for a spot on my face, and I went shopping later. Men, women, and children stared at me and whispered. When I got home, I had no idea how red, black, and blue my cheek had gotten. I also met a wonderful girl who'd been scarred from a fire. She was strong, kind, and lovely. I admire and respect her faith in God and living life to the fullest. Those two stories inspired "Grace's Forgiveness." Enjoy!
