Carla Laddabout this book: This funny, quick read is a compilation of some of the sage advice I received while living with my maternal grandmother. I laughed and cried as I reminisced about the life lessons this special woman taught me. I want to share her legacy with other young women.
This fun, quick-read makes a great gift for the special young women in your life who need to be taught some old school lessons. These lessons have carried me a long way as a wife and businesswoman.
After my granny died in November 2001, I started compiling the things I remembered her saying and doing. My mother and other older family members helped me with this process. I didn't work on it consistently. In 2010, I took the time to put my notes in book form.
Those who have had a special woman to nurture and guide them through young adulthood will appreciate having this book to give to a young woman their care about.
