Tess, Jake and their team engage is a series of air battles to defeat Amir's plans. In a final violent confrontation, Amir tries to exact revenge by taking what Tess considers most precious. In the end, tragedy is redeemed by a poignant resolution.
"Tess Valkyrie has heart-stopping action and intrigue and is absolutely heart wrenching at some points. The passion of book 1 is multiplied tenfold with moments that will have you gritting your teeth, crying and shouting with joy. I definitely felt Tess's wrath and was right there with her and felt like I wanted to take a knife to someone myself. This was one of the main successes of Tess Valkyrie where Andres Mann really makes you feel right along with Tess. An absolutely FANTASTIC book!"
"I love Tess and her determination to tell the truth no matter the consequences. This leads to conflicts and battles with Amir, who is one of the most fascinating bad guys in a novel. Even though he is obsessed with Tess, he manages to destroy whatever chances he had to make her go back to him. I almost fell sorry for him, almost."
