about this book: Like for many authors the idea for my trilogy stuck with me for many years. Only in the last two years was I able to bring it to paper. I guess it needed stewing for a long time before the brew was ready, LOL. And a brew it is, I am an off beat person, I have lived an extra ordinary life, so, of course my experiences have flavoured my books heavily.

The story starts with a young woman, Clara, who has a rare gift of extreme empathy and develops quickly from there into a chase through the Northwest of America into Canada. Although she knows better she can not resist her new found feelings for a former classmate and lays out a trail for him to follow.

That, however, is only the beginning. When they bump, seemingly by accident, into a group of canadian misfits it soon becomes clear that other forces are at work. One of their new companions is a native carver, Jim, who was called into action by his unrestful ancestor who changes his form at will between a raven and an apparition. All the while watching is a more sinister player. Headhunter Anita is on their trail, doing what she does best, collecting specimen for her boss.
