Paul Wolaninabout this book: This 30-day devotional was written for persons struggling with addiction, depression, worry, anxiety, procrastination, negative thinking and fear of the future. This book was written from a 12-step, spiritual perspective based on my own experiences as a recovering person as well as an Addictions treatment professional. This devotional is a compilation of some very basic yet highly effective methods to help people get their lives back on track. Though my 10+ years of graduate education in psychology, I have been able to use my knowledge of behavioral and cognitive therapy and counseling - as well as my own experiences - to illustrate how the reader can begin to take the necessary steps to realize their potential in life by breaking free of destructive habits of thought and behavior.
I have learned through the school of hard knocks that life is hard, but life can be AWESOME if we are willing to do the work! Since getting sober a few 24 hours ago, I have dedicated my life to giving to others what was given to me...a new way of life, hope for the future, and a relationship with the One who created me. Writing this book was a joy for me.

Empowering & UpliftingI became intrigued about this book while reading the description and I had a feeling that this was going to be one of those 'hidden gems' I am always looking for through the Kindle. I am so glad that I had a chance to read the book, as it's very informing and insightful but also a pleasant and enjoyable read from start to finish due to to the author's smooth, straightforward writing style.
I really admire the author for putting this work together and I can definitely say that I felt more empowered after finishing each chapter, I highly recommend this for anyone that needs to find more motivation and strength through their own journey that may need a little extra help that this book provides in the most efficient way possible.
