Book: The Sea Witch by Brian Bigelow
categories: Book, Caribbean, Sailing, Love Story, Sea Adventures, Literary Fiction, Action AdventureBrian Bigelow

In some ways, that's something that I did in 2002 so I guess in some ways it's a story about me. That fact also made it difficult in some ways to write, Timothy, after all, is partially based on me.
Just because you've been doing something doesn't mean you have to continue doing the same thing. You can change your life. In Timothy's case he discovers the wonders of sailing and very quickly grows to love it. And for you ladies out there, he does find a new love.
The title is of course the name of the sailboat and the cover image resembles the actual boat I had imagined the entire time I wrote the story. With extensive research, I learned that sized sailboat can be operated by a single sailor if the boat has been rigged correctly. Tammie Clarke Gibbs took my cover idea and turned it into the wonderful creation it is now. The photo itself was one of the very few for that sized boat I could find after several weeks of searching.
