Defective Springs

I purchased the ab rocket and I am down to the last set of springs equipped with this item. When I purchased this product, the first set of springs broke within a week of purchase. I am a female less than one hundred forty pounds, and doing less than 200 sit ups a day, and I am disappointed that the metal springs breaks so easily. I don't know if the springs are defective, or just can't hold up to the constant back and forth. I am searching for additional springs for this item.
