Great American DebutThis album is great for a debut. Her voice is stunning. I love the first single "In This Life". I love "Believe Again", it is so epic! The video is amazing. I hope this track is released as a single here in the US! "Woman" is the only song Delta did not write or co-write and I HATE it - the lyric is so poor. I know that these songs are not lyrically the best ever but I think Delta wanted some songs that were "baggage free" for her American debut. Her first Australian debut had the emotional songs such as 'Not Me Not I' and great songs like "Lost Without You".
Her most deep and meaningful lyric was on the second album "Mistaken Identity". These songs are very dark but have great lyrics and emotion. The song "Extraordinary day" was written about the day she found out she had cancer. "Mistaken Identity" talks about the loosing of her identity to cancer. If you want more get the album "Mistaken Identity". It's her best album to date. But in saying this, Delta is a strong debut and will see Delta get her name out in America and be exposed to big producers and song writers. She has done a fantastic job on this album.
