Outstanding
This collection of late Renaissance/Early Baroque is absolutely outstanding! The professionalism of the Empire Brass Quintet and Friends is clearly detailed on this CD. This disk offers a variety of selections of Gabrieli and others to reflect the antiphonal style of brass music of that musical era. The very beautiful and anonymous piece entitled "Gloria" is absolutely outstanding on this disk! A "keeper" for sure!
