I've Used Several Over Many Years - Great Timesaving ToolI install above ground swimming pools almost everyday of the summer, and we have purchased a few Robolasers over the years. Two of them have worked flawlessly for five or more years, even though they are standing in the sun and heat, and amid sand and dust, for about two hours each day. The third Robolaser does not operate when it's been in even warm temperatures (70 degrees F). The remote controls get very dirty and we need to clean them of sand and dust once in a while, but they have done quite well.
One of the Robolasers needed to be sent for repair (when adjusting the set screw for level, we had to adjust it so far that the screw fell out!), and it cost about 1/2 of what a new one costs just to repair it. They have been a huge time-saver for our installations, when compared to a line of site transit and stick.
